What a year it was!
On the 6th anniversary of this website, Sue & I are reflecting over the past 12 months and are amazed at all we've managed to squeeze in to one year! Florida in the early spring, our Letterboxing Cruise to Bermuda in June, Live & Breathe in Oregon in September and our Bed & Boxing event in New Hampshire in November!
Do ya think we're addicted???

And in each and every place, we met with local letterboxers and old friends who make this boxing journey so great. It's all about the people in our estimation. People of like mind who accept us as friends from reading our blog; offering to set up a meet & greet in a distant city; letterbox with us in a special location or just join us for a meal. Busy letterboxers who give so freely of their precious time.
2009 is shaping up to a great start as Sue & I plan to visit the O Letterboxing Tree in Bellingham, MA in early January as well as taking a very small group to Stone Mountain, GA in late February, where we can commune with the local boxers and attend a meet & greet there. Sue & I are taking a side trip to Hilton Head after Stone Mountain and will be attending another meet & greet there. Again, locals going out of their way to make us feel at home in another state. More time to make new friends in distant states!
Wherever this letterboxing journey takes us, we know we're in for a great time because we're meeting new people, visiting wonderful boxes in very special places and enjoying distant trails.
May all of your letterboxing hunts in 2009 be filled with wonder, good health and safety!
